FASHION INFORMATION GALLERY
Fashion books, color samples and a collection of over one thousand fashion magazines are available at this Fashion Information Gallery. It serves to provide individuals from the apparel and image industry with information on the latest fashion trends.
With the development of network technology, most people used to search information online. Therefore, CPTTM has added two fashion online trend platforms (WGSN), helping local designers with deeper and more plentiful information.
IMAGE LAB
To support the economic strategy of diversified development, HAT has set up an “Image Lab” for training purpose. This Lab is modeled after a real hair design and beauty salon, equipped with a reception area, over 20 make-up/hairstyling stations, benches for hair-washing and facials, as well as steam machines. Image Lab is also an approved exam center of VQA and international makeup qualifications.
E-FASHION STUDIO:
With the development of the local creative industry, popularity of computer technology services increases. Including: sublimation printing machines, digital direct to garment printing machines, foam printing/flock printing, CAD/CAM systems, computerized pattern-making system, etc. Apart for instructional purposes, such facilities are also available for rental use by Macao’s fashion and creative industry professionals and related course students.
FASHION WORKSHOP 1
his workshop is equipped with different types of sewing machines and tables for pattern-making to support training on sewing and pattern-making courses.
FASHION WORKSHOP 2
This workshop is equipped with tables for pattern-making and different types of sewing machines to support training on apparel production.
FASHION WORKSHOP 3
This workshop is equipped with traditional fabric design equipment and knitting machine for different fabric design and making, such as screen print, tie-dye, wax-dye, and so on. The large workbench is used for fashion craftsmanship, accessory making and visual merchandising courses.
MULTI-PURPOSE HALL
Apart from serving as a classroom, other activities, such as indoor photography studio for digital fashion photography course, students’ mini-fashion shows, can also be held at this Hall.
CLASSROOM AND DESIGN COMPUTER LAB
The classroom and design computer lab are equipped with multimedia teaching equipment. The computer lab serves to provide facilities for different types of computer applications, including CLO 3D pattern software, CAD (computer-aided design) web design, as well as computer graphics.
